When you’re working in print, don’t be afraid of small text. You were probably taught to hover around 12pt., which is a perfectly fine size, but it doesn’t need to be the default. Most printed documents will read perfectly fine in 11, 10, or even 9 point.
Hell, some newspapers set smaller, with stock listings going as small as 4 point.
