Caslon is great for anything

Caslon is what’s referred to as a “Transitional Serif” because it helped the shift from calligraphic designs to more constructed styles. Originally designed in the UK by William Caslon, this typeface is very common, as many printers and designers treat it as the default. And for good reason: Caslon can be used for practically anything. It can be serious, inviting, friendly, and authoritative.

You may have Caslon on your computer, if not, it’s worth buying.
